There is not a lot to say about this because it is just a strainer. However, it is a nice large size. It is not so big I would say it is enough to drain a box of pasta or anything, but it is big enough to drain a can of corn or beans. It is good! I would say it would be good for straining large quart-size or larger tea bags. I don't think I would use it for anything that has small leaves or whatnot. But it would perfectly work for larger things. So far it seems like it is going to be durable. Do you know how some strainers are cheaply made and essentially rust after the first use? This one has not died on me yet and I have used it several times! I am hopeful that that means it will last a while!

So far, so good!

This 7" strainer is a nice size. Big enough to use for spaghetti, small enough to handle easily. The packaging box was large enough to keep it from being dented and distorted in shipping. I have used it for veggies and pastas. They say it will even sift flour so that's next on my list. I mainly chose it for straining liquids from things though, and it works beautifully for that.
I got the cream colored handled so it goes with any color. It has a stainless steel loop on the edge to rest your spoon handle in. The entire piece is a nice quality stainless steel.
Oddly the ad on Walmart said "put it in the dishwasher" but the instructions on the strainer itself say hand-wash only. That's what I intend to do. It appears to me that it will be strong enough to last a long time yet it's a very good price. I not only would recommend this to a friend but I already have.

Sturdy, attractive strainer

I love pioneer woman products and this strainer is no exception. It is large and has a good weight to it. The handle is just the right size for my small hands it feels very secure so it won’t slip away. Washes fantastically in my dishwasher and looks pretty hanging up in my kitchen. I recommend every kitchen have this high quality kitchen tool it is built to last a lifetime.

Great craftsmanship

PIONEER WOMAN STRAINER 7" INCH. this strainer is from
the FRONTIER COLLECTION. all metal on this product is
STAINLESS STEEL. the steel that encircles the top of
this strainer is 1/2" inch in width. then on the 
underneath of this rim is another 1/4" inch of steel
that is flattened up against the bottom of the steel
edge and tightly compressing the steel strainer wire
mesh in between. this is an extremely strong bond. it
doesnt weaken when pressure is placed inside the
strainer.
 on one side of the strainer is a thick solid steel
"U" shaped hook that is welded onto the underneath of
the steel rim. this helps support the strainer on edges
of bowls or pans. the opposite side of the strainer is
a heavy duty plastic handle of 5" inches long x 1/2"
inches thick and then 1 1/4" inches at its widest point
and tapers down to 3/4" inches wide. at that thinner
end is where there is a 2 1/2" inch metal forked prong
and solid clamp which secures the plastic handle to the
steel and then the forked steel area is welded under the
base of the steel rim.

COLLECTION STRAINER is 14 1/2" inches from end to end.
 this strainer is well made and excellent quality and
i am looking forward to using it for very many years to
come. i use this strainer for sifting all the dry
ingredients in recipes, separating and straining foods,
including soups, stews, vegetables etc. this is definitely
a multi-use kitchen tool everlasting.

Nice choice

This Pioneer woman frontier collection strainer, is an awesome well made strainer. The handle is nice and feel sturdy in your hand. The strainer is a wonderful fine stainless steel mesh, that cleans very well by hand washing. It's very beautiful to boot!!

Pioneer woman frontier collection strainer

You can never go wrong with Pioneer Woman. Seriously!! I own so many products from this brand and I am never disappointed. Her products are so well made and pretty. There's only one thing that I wish was different about this. I wish it had a pretty handle like the rest of her products, but that is something very minor especially compared to the quality. If you need a strainer, get this one!

So Perfect

I was so excited to receive another pioneer woman product. I have an ever growing collection and this was something I felt like I needed to add in this particular color. Pros: color, functionality, sturdy strainer, size. By size I do mean the capacity in which it holds. The strainer has tiny holes so much of nothing will be able to slip through except the liquid you're draining off. Cons: none so far.

Teal me

I decided it was time to upgrade my old strainer, so I ordered this Pioneer Woman Frontier Collection Strainer. The strainer's features are made of stainless steel and the handle is ample, making it easier to hold onto. The stainless steel loop on the deep bowl's edge is sturdy enough to hold onto the edge of a mixing bowl or pot and doubles as a hanger for storing or displaying. Like all of the Pioneer Woman products, you expect quality and this strainer does not disappoint.

Sturdy, Smart Design!

If you are an occasional vegetable peeler, this is a great starter peeler for you. If you are someone who peels potatoes regularly, you may want to find some thing a little more sturdy. This potato peeler is very light weight, the handle is made from a lightweight plastic. If you are looking to start off in a new home, this is a great place to start, but, if you are someone who is a heavy user of vegetable peeler's, you may want to opt for some thing a little more durable.
