Yes.  The Nikon COOLPIX B500 digital camera comes with camera neck strap as well as a small cord to connect the lens cap to the camera for safe-keeping.  Instructions for attaching the neck strap properly can be found inside the Quick Start Guide, which is provided in the box with the camera and accessories.

HD is a term that is generally applied to video and the COOLPIX B500 can shoot 1080p Full HD video.  Still photos are usually shot at a much higher resolution than HD videos.  For example, the resolution for HD video is 1920x1080 while the B500 has a resolution of 4608 x 3456 (16 Megapixels). Perhaps you meant to ask about HDR photography.  HDR photography is a method of capturing multiple images which are then combined to create one image with a wider range of tones.  HDR can help add detail and tone to a shot that has both very bright and very dark areas. The COOLPIX B500 has a Backlighting Scene Mode that has an HDR option.  When HDR is enabled the B500 takes image continuously and uses multiple images to create an image in which the loss of details in highlights & shadows is minimized.

The Nikon COOLPIX B500 digital camera has options for creating a still with Special Effects while in Movie Mode.  Some of the Special Effects available are High-Contrast, Selective Color, Mirror and more.  A still image with a size of 4608x2592 can be captured with a Special Effect by pressing the shutter-release button when the shooting standby screen is displayed.  In addition, there are editing tools that will allow effects to be added after the image has been taken.  For power, this camera uses either four LR6/L40 (AA-size) alkaline batteries, four FR6/L91 (AA-size) lithium batteries or four EN-MH2 Rechargeable Ni-MH batteries. I love this camera! I take mostly moon pics and it takes pretty impressive pictures for a starter camera. This camera has all the features that I need. My friends are always impressed with the pictures I take. I love being able to put the pictures straight to my phone. $217 well spent

Perfect starter camera!

This camara came in pretty fast. It feels lighter than it looks but dont let that fool you. It takes great pictures and videos for the purpose I need it for. If your looking for a HIGH QUALITY perfessionl pictures, this is not it. This is more for general use for good looking pictures. It also has a SHORT MOVIE option which is pretty cool and useful. Its east to carry around my neck, not heavy at all! I love how it feels in my hand. You cant take off the lenese, thats fine , just dont buy this item beliveing your able. 

This item is perfect for my soccer games, vacation, runs to the park with my kids, home videos and more.

Nice point and shoot camera. Has been out 6 yrs, but the technology is still up to date. 40x optical zoom is the main reason for buying.  One "quirk", when you pick up the camera, you have to be careful how you hold it. Pressing the wrong area will quickly turn it on, even when you didn't plan on it. Not a great "feature".

I don't know how to use the camera completely but what I've learnt is it works great. It seems to be a little slow but then maybe that's me.

I'm no professional photographer, and I really just wanted a camera that took higher quality photos and videos of my farm. I didn't have high expectations for this camera due to it being fairly cheap as far as cameras go, but I was so surprised! This camera is amazing!! The images are so clear and video is awesome. I love how it uploads the photos right to your phone without needing to do anything with a computer. Definitely an amazing camera
