Is there an option for a non coated beater for the 7qt kitchen aid mixer? 
I have a model KSM7581WH0, love the power.
I always hand wash the stainless steel bowl and beater.
However, now I found the Flat Beater coating is coming off at three different spots.
Can you help me please?

I've had this mixer for years, and it works great  but the flat beater coating is chipping off into the food. I e read this seems to be an issue with other reviews, how do we remedy the problem? Is there a stainless steal beater option? I've had kitchen aid mixers for 26 years, this is disappointing for such an expensive mixer.

While I love this mixer I was sad to see a huge chunk of paint chip off and mix into my batter! I did a bit of reading online and found others complaining of the same issue with this paddle. Many people mentioned chipping at the top or bottom. But mine had a large chunk chip off near the hole on the paddle itself. Which seems odd since that shouldn't be bumping against anything. I only use silicone spatulas with it so I'm stumped. Is there something I could do differently if I buy a new one? I'd love to see a non-coated stainless steel paddle for this mixer but haven't found that to be an option.

Bad experience

I'm very disappointed in this attachment, the coating chips off!    Clearly I need a new paddle, but I don't really want another one that is going to chip.  Based on the other reviews I have read, chipping is a common issue.

Mine came with the 7Qt Pro Line Mixer. What a disappointment to see it came chipped out of the box! They touched it up with paint of the same colour but you can clearly see the edges of area with missing coating. I saved a long time for this mixer thinking I'm going to get a good quality model but I'm not so sure anymore. Reading the other reviews it doesn't look like buying a replacement of the same type is a good idea, they all have this issue!

I had a Hobart made Kitchen Aid mixer for over 30 years.  Loved it!  When it started to have issues I decided to replace it with a new Kitchen Aid 7 qt mixer.  The new mixer is not near the quality of the first one.  One of the very noticeable issues is that the coated flat beater paint is all peeling off.  See attached pictures. The paint is peeling off every seam on the beater, so it can't be because it's hitting the bowl (which I'm sure it is not hitting the bowl). I do not think it's safe to be consuming the paint (which obviously in in the food).

Dissapointing Beater Quality

I love my mixer! Waited years for one. However, this is my second beater to chip like this. I really can't believe that there has not been a change in how these are made. It is dangerous, annoying and embarrassing! I thought I just received a bad one the first time, but it happened again! Please find a solution. I can't keep buying these!

My second beater chipped too!

I had my first KitchenAid mixer for 28 years and never had to replace the paddle. I bake so much that my family bought me the 7 qt model in 2015 and I noticed last week that my paddle is pitted and chipping. I must say even though I like the size of the 7 qt I miss the old one. It was much easier to access the bowl when on the mixer and was much quieter.

Flat beater keeps chipping. I have purchased 2 of them and both chipped after first use. How can I purchase a stainless steel flat beater to fit my 7qt kitchenaid mixer? I don't want to use the coated ones anymore and risk chipped sharp coating ending up in baked goods and causing harm to someone else.
