This is the jazz stick to beat. The weight, balance, taper, tip, diameter and length are all perfect. Wicked thin compared to a 5A/5B, but strong and confidence-inspiring. Fantastic stick definition on cymbals, and makes toms and snares sing at medium to high tunings.

These are great for low volume playing! The guys in my rock band play so darn low I'm always overpowering them. These sticks help and they have good bound even with.490 dia.

I wanted sticks to give my playing a lighter feel, and on the snare, I didn't want to sound like British Army going to war against Napoleon. When I go back to my normal A5 sticks, they feel like sledgehammers if I'm playing jazz. They feel great.

I used these exclusively on a recent recording session and couldn't be more pleased! The articulation on the ride and my old Avedis 16" crash was incredible. They also made my 13" Avedis high-hat sing rather nicely.

Because everything was mic'd, they worked beautifully and I never felt like I had to overplay... They are fast and perfect for recording as well as smaller venues...
