Crisp 4K video in the palm of your hand
The Zoom Q8n-4K captures crisp 4K ultra-high-definition video with a powerful 160-degree wide-angle lens. Ten built-in scene presets for indoor and outdoor settings make for rapid setup and crisp video recording in nearly any environment. For extra stability, the Q8n-4K easily mounts onto a tripod and an included adapter for three-prong action mounts lets you use your device with most high-end videography accessories. The Q8 also features a built-in Mini HDMI port for playback, a USB interface for streaming and data transfers, and a handy built-in speaker for rapid playback without headphones. This speaker is super useful for short-form content creation on platforms like Instagram and TikTok where headphones could hinder your workflow.
A full recording studio
The Q8n-4K features the same outstanding audio quality and rugged build that’s made Zoom a household name. Essentially a full recording studio in your hands, the Q8n-4K seamlessly integrates up to four channels of audio into video recordings and it can be used as an independent recorder, a USB mic, or even as an HD webcam for streaming and video calls. Recorded audio can be saved as independent WAV or AAC files, or merged directly with your video content as a single MOV file. The Q8n-4K features a built-in headphone/line-out for easy monitoring and playback on external speakers. For audio capture, choose from the included microphone capsule or connect your own external mic or audio source via two mic/line inputs with XLR connectors. These connectors have optional phantom power for powering external devices and handy -20dB pads for recording in loud environments. Speaking of loudness, the Q8n-4K has two simple wheel-knob gain controls for adjusting your levels, a low-cut filter for bass-heavy settings like concerts, and finally, a built-in compressor and limiter that automatically manage your audio’s clarity and integrity.
