Convenient Mini Patch Bay

Well-made, compact patchbay; perfect for use in small spaces, like a condo or an apartment - or when traveling. It's half-normalled, so make sure that works for your set up. For most people, that's the perfect style of patchbay. I mostly use it as an easier method for patching cables in to my UA interface; instead of having to reach around the back, plugging and unplugging items there, you can have it set up so that you only have to plug instruments and other items into the front of your patchbay. I use this for my synth heavy workflow, but it also works with guitar set ups. Glad I bought it!

Suitable as a guitar rig patchbay

I wanted to add some sort of patching capability to my guitar rig consisting of a rack FX unit and an amp, like the ability to patch in pedals or other outboard FX without having to re-cable everything, and also without having to take up a whole 1U in the rack with a full patchbay. This little guy seemed like it would work and I took a chance. I have it set up so I can patch in at multiple points in the signal chain and have had no problems with the little bit of use I've given it so far.
The only issue is mounting it. There are 4 little screw holes on both the front and back that were meant for the Hosa rack plate for these things. I ended up drilling out some patch and mounting holes in the rack plate I have in the rig and had to find some odd little screws that fit. This seems to work well enough.

Awesome little box!

Bought this unit as a nicety to clean up my pedal board inputs and outputs. I use a GT-1000 Core along with my analogue pedals, and had several cables coming and going from my board (effects loops, 4 cable method, etc) - and this little box cleaned it up BIG TIME. Super pleased with my purchase and how simple it is to set up and how small this device is (fits brilliantly under my board). Add in the flexibility the "half-normalling" enables and I am very pleased with my purchase. Highly recommend.

Adds Extras to Guitar Head Switchers

I have an inexpensive DeLisle Amp Speaker Selector that allows me to switch 4 guitar amp heads between 4 speaker cabs. One of the cab outputs I send to a fractal x-load reactive load box. I have my amp guitar inputs going to the Hosa patchbay back top 4 jacks and amp send/returns going to back bottom jacks. They are trs inputs. I can then plug my guitar into any of the 4 amp inputs and patch guitar pedals into the same amp. Greatly extends the DeLisle. The Boss Jack cards can be reversed so half-normal becomes straight thru patchbay for my use.

Perfect

Perfect for my current needs. I am using a Apollo Twin interface the two inputs on the Apollo are routed to one and two on the MHB and inputs three and four can be patched in as needed and I never have to touch the Apollo interface. I also have my Cloud Lifter set up to patch into inputs one and two on the MHB if need be.
