Fresh Sound and Style for the Whole Kit

Gearing up for a key event or big session? Keep your kit sounding and performing its best with this value-packed Evans Hydraulic Red drumhead pack. In addition to the 10-inch, 12-inch, and 14-inch Evans Hydraulic Red tom batters — those ruby red 2-ply heads with the internal layer of overring-fighting oil — you also get a bonus Evans UV1 Coated batter head to refresh your snare. It's a complete kit makeover in a box. Each head in the Evans EPP-HRUV1-F Hydraulic Red Fusion Tom Pack boasts Evans' Level 360 collar, which seats the head evenly along your shell's bearing edge for better tone and tuning.

10-inch, 12-inch, and 14-inch Evans Hydraulic Red tom heads

Evans Hydraulic Red drumheads begin life as two 7mm plies of synthetic film. Before being attached to the rim, the head is filled with oil and quickly sealed off. Once it’s tuned up, the oil acts as a built-in dampening agent that controls overtones and reduces the drum’s overall sustain. The result of this construction method is a drumhead that produces a warm, fat sound. Plus, with Evans Hydraulic Red heads on your toms, you're not likely to need gels, tape, control rings, or wallets to get the sound you're after.

Bonus 14-inch UV1 Coated snare head

A patented UV-cured coating and breakthrough 10-mil film give the Evans UV1 drumhead the kind of durability that drummers dream of. If you're tired of your coating wearing thin long before your head wears out, then Sweetwater drummers recommend the Evans UV1. Like other leading coated heads, the UV1 is made from a single ply of 10-mil film for a good balance of sensitivity and tone. But it's made tough to resist wear from rimshots, buzzes, and swirls.

Evans EPP-HRUV1-F Hydraulic Red Fusion Tom Pack Features:

  • A complete drum kit makeover in a box
  • Includes 10-inch, 12-inch, and 14-inch clear red tom heads, plus a bonus 14-inch coated snare head
  • 2-ply Hydraulic Red tom heads feature an internal oil dampening agent to control ring and sustain
  • 1-ply UV1 cured snare head packs great tone and enhanced durability
  • Level 360 collar promotes proper head seating and maximizes tone transfer

A New Go-to

I recently needed to replace the original batter heads on my Ludwig snare, rack toms, and floor tom. They already sound
a great deal better from the change. They have a nice clear tone. Overall, incredibly positive.

Put these on DW

Switched from Evans UV1's which I love but got these cause of the great deal. Wasn't sure what they would sound like on my DW Collectors, but they sound great with a lot of punch however they are really short on sustain, but not as much as I would have thought....for acoustic set out side not so good but mic them up and hallelujah!!!! great for studio.

Still quality after 40 years.

My first set of Evans hydraulics was back in 1984-85. They are the same, great quality heads, that will make any set sound better if you are looking for that thick, warm sound. Great for recording with dampeners. I love these heads.

Fixed problem child

My DW maple 14" is a great drum, but I had trouble with some of the overtones on an f#2 pitch. The tone I can now produce is madness! It sounds really great and was dope to tune…dialed right in. I'm also using the 10", 12", 16" on my toms and tried the UV1 on my 51/2x14 Ludwig Millennium brass snare. I am very, very impressed with the clear crack, smooth rolls, clean tuning. I don't know how Evans does it?!?!?
Red-to me-is annoying, but a great sound at a super price holds a strong argument.
NOTE: Installed a set on an older China/ Japan mid-range set and the sound about $300 better. LOL

Great drum heads.

As a professional musician I have used many variations of drum head setups for live and studio work. These hydraulic heads are great for both settings. I was pleasantly surprised at there live concert sound. Great punch while still being controlled.
