Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great, straightforward install. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works very well, love the 'Normal' ice cube shape and the HUGE ice bucket! The install went without issue. Note, when it says connect the wiring harness, they mean the harness on the solenoid valve to a plug in the fridge. It may look like it doesn't fit, but it fits nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, lousy instructions After a month long intense search I finally found the ice maker, bucket and the full kit with the water valve and fill tube. I opened the box and proceeded to be totally disgusted with the instructions! They are not complete, nor accurate and you will have problems completing the installation if you follow them. Fortunately, there is a great Youtube installation video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4nAv7McEGs. As for my BRAND NEW LG fridge (which I will review later), be aware that the 3 holes for the ice maker are not drilled correctly. One mounting bushing did thread properly, the other one was stripped out badly and the third one wasn't even close to where it should be! I had to replace one bushing screw with a bigger one and drill the 3rd hole where it belonged! After all that, the ice maker did function incredibly well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What LG does not know or willing to tell you. LK65C.ASWCNA0 has everything you need including the water valve. Go to the support tab and download the installation manual. Also, if you are just looking for the water valve the part number is AJU73292414.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from LG LK65c Icemaker Installation Not So Simple While the installation was relatively simple it required a little flexibility and adaptiveness on my part. The installation instructions were not clear and looked like it could use better English interpretation. The white coated sheet metal screw should have been mentioned to be used inside the freezer compartment instead of the uncoated but identical screws. The water funnel piece was a separate piece and was never mentioned in the instructions. I had to figure out where it belonged. In addition, there was a machine screw that I was supposed to use, instead of a sheet metal screw, to secure the water valve in the back of the refrigerator. Instructions were not clear as to how I was to secure the water line to the back of the refrigerator and how I was to reinstall the back bottom panel...I am supposed to install the panel before installing the water supply line..
