| On / off switch |
| Slide dimmer |
| Works with 120V Advanced Mark X ballasts |
| Only one dimmer can be used in a 3-way application |
|
Troubleshooting |
| Problem: Lights are flickering |
| Check wiring/troubleshooting of the ballast being used |
| If dimmer is being used in a 3-way application, make sure only one dimmer is on the circuit. A mechanical on/off switch will need to be used in the other location |
| Problem: One location will not turn on if the other location is turned off |
| The common and traveler wires are switched at one of the locations. Consult the installation guide and wiring diagram for wiring guidelines in a 3-way setup. The common wire will be identified as the "tagged" wire. This wire either brings line voltage into the wallbox, or delivers voltage to your lights. Traveler wires go between 2 wallboxes and typically "travel" together in the wall. If the common and traveler wire are switched on the control, one side will only turn on if the other is in the on position.
