Part of the most powerful line of wet dry vacs RIDGID has ever made, the RIDGID 16 Gal. 6.5 Peak Horsepower NXT Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum was built with RIDGID's most powerful horsepower motor, engineered for the pros with the toughest cleanups. This model includes a cart with large rear wheels, the fine dust filter (VF5000) to capture fine powders and debris and accessories to equip the pro for any job - 2 extension wands, a utility nozzle, car nozzle, wet nozzle, crevice tool and a muffler/diffuser. The drum offers maximum capacity at 16 gal. and the 2-piece drum construction provides lasting durability. Storage is readily available with hooks to store the hose and caster feet that fit both 1-7/8 in. and 2-1/2 in. accessories. The 2-1/2 in. locking shop vac accessories lock onto a wand or hose for uninterrupted cleaning. Use the utility nozzle for larger areas, the car nozzle for detailed cleaning and the crevice tool for tight spaces. For wet applications, attach the wet nozzle, for quieter operation, use the muffler/diffuser accessory and for extended reach, use the 2 extension wands. Large power switch, bottom drum handles and built-in drain upgrades the vac. The Qwik Lock Filter makes installing or removing your filter quick, easy, and secure. The Large rear wheels and casters provide great mobility over carpeted floors, thresholds and rough floors at jobsites. We have a number of years with our vacuums and these have proven to be durable and last a long time. Having said that, we appreciate you feedback on the product.

Thanks for the time to write a review and we're very sorry to learn your disappointment. The lifetime warranty of our RIDGID wet/dry vacs covers defects in workmanship and material. Failures due to misuse, abuse and normal wear and tear are not covered by this warranty. Dirt and debris being picked up by the vac should be captured by the filter. In addition, debris in the blower wheel occurs when the vac is used to pick up dry material with a missing, damaged, or incorrectly positioned filter, in violation of both the “Safety” and “Operation” sections of the owner’s manual provided with your vac. While you need to take out the filter for larger quantities. Hence, this vac can be used for small and large amounts of liquids.
