I was searching for outdoor speakers and my budget was $500. I had size limitations as well, as I would be installing these under the eves of my house. I scoured the internet and found $1,000 speakers and was just about to purchase them when my son pointed out the Klipsch speakers. I read the rave reviews and figured how could I go wrong. When the speakers arrived I noticed that the speaker housing was probably not as heavy as I would have wanted and the metal mounts were not as sturdy as I would have liked. I none the less mounted the speakers and gave them a listen. First thing that impressed me was their imaging. They were crisp and clean. I listen to music very loud and so i turned up the volume and was pleasantly surprised. Do they rattle? Yes a little but I imagine that I'll add some external crossovers to kill the 100 HZ frequencies and below and add an outdoor sub. I listen to Deep House music which as you know thrives on bass. All in all not bad for under $200. Read full review

Product was overpriced when released, however they have been on the market for over a year now and the price has dropped accordingly. I didn't want to have a thousand dollars worth of speakers hanging off my house for anyone to grab so I shopped carefully for price versus quality and I believe these are the best bang for the buck. What you are paying for in addition to the weatherproofing is a different bass driver, outsiders speakers do not have walls to help amplify low frequency sounds, it is for this reason that good outside speakers will cost you as high as $1000.00 for a decent pair, and using indoor speakers for an outside application is not a wise move, even expensive indoor speakers will not have decent bass reproduction outside and will deteriorate quickly. The Klipsch hit a good balance, they sound fantastic, high notes are crystal and bass is better than normal for a speaker this size. Plan on spending 250 -350, for a pair of these, grab 'em if you can they are easily the highest output speakers for that price that Klipsch have to offer.Read full review
Easy to install. Sound is bright, very good on highs, good on lows, acceptable on midrange. Top performance for speakers of this size in this price range.

Installed four of these inside our gazebo. They fill the gazebo & cover a large deck area. Efficient for a small speaker. For their size and price they are hard to beat.

When reviewing sound it’s difficult to read through an opinion so I’ll say this, I’m hard of hearing and I needed some outdoor speakers on the back of my RV what I would suggest is that any pair of indoor outdoor mountable speakers if you’re looking for bass deep bass to pound your Hardaway little bitty speakers aren’t going to give you that pounding it’s just not gonna happen but what I can say about the speakers are that they sound great and they have some bass behind them but they can’t rock the house like a 12 inch woofer and a big enclosure so when you’re shopping you might consider looking for an outdoor subwoofer that matches the speakers you have if they offer them. But the speakers sound fantastic by themselves alone and I recommend them to anybody. John B.
