This receiver was perfect for my purposes -- connecting a Bluetooth turntable and CD player to traditional speakers. I know I am supposed to give five starts to every product that does what it is supposed to do, but there are limitations that prevent me from calling it "awesome," and it was not really "better than expected, but it was more than just "OK," so I will go with 4 stars. It has plenty of power, so the sound through my speakers and FM reception is better than the dying receiver it replaced. Its small size saves room on the shelf. Its limitations: it has only Bluetooth and 2 RCA inputs, with no optical or HDMI outputs for true audiophiles, and no 3.5 mm plug, so a 3.5 mm to RCA adapter is necessary to connect small powered speakers. I would have preferred standard bare wire speaker connectors rather than Banana, but it was no big deal getting 4 Banana plugs, and bare wires can be inserted behind the connectors. Overall, this receiver does everything I need, after getting a couple adapters at a small extra cost.Read full review

1. Bluetooth is 2.1, not compatible with a Windows 10 computer, which means it won't connect - the mauin reason I it bought it for. 2. FM scanning is impossibly poor. It seeks and sets stations off frequency and skips strong stations. 3. There's a feature that allows the remote to turn it off, but the bright pilot light stays on, not desired. 4 .For an economy price device, the quality of the amplifier's sound is good, but not exceptional.

I bought the unit for my wife. She likes playing iHeart stations on her phone. The small bluetooth speakers that she was using were tedious to keep charged so I decided to get a bluetooth amp to connect to her phone. I connected a pair of ancient 8 ohm speaker sand Viola! better sound and no charging. Using the FM feature was a bonus. I also hooked up the LCD Television and now the sound on that is much improved. I doubt very much that this unit can deliver two channels of 120w for more than an instant. So for two channels to reach a total of 240w will require the delivery of 2 amps at 120v. The power cord look a little light for that much current. None the less, the unit can saturate my old bookshelf speakers. Net-Net, I'd buy again and would buy it for someone who needs an FM radio/Bluetooth/Amp. Better than those battery powered speakers by far. Read full review

Great amplifier for the money. Feature packed with plenty of clean power that made my 8" outdoor rock speakers thump. Bluetooth connected to Android phone easily and was simple to use. The am/fm tuner works great however the presets and tuning of stations takes some getting used to as is not as easy as one would hope still, very happy with this amplifier/receiver for the money!

A friend of mine bought one oh yeah I have the model with more feature to use it in a cab over camper with some 6 inch mini indoor outdoor speakers, and my small mixing board to do small work inside the camper, at that close range the sound is really good through the speakers and the unit performs as it should, however this is a small unit this is not something that weighs 20 pounds with a lot of wattage per se, so if you’re building a component set up that is high end audio kind of in your own mind this is not high end audio however I can tell you that the features it has works so if you’re doing what I’m doing it’ll work fine when you put everything into a memory stick and then transfer it to a cd recorder it sounds great so for that and using headphones or small speakers it works like it is advertised and it’s very very portable so make your considerations and do your shopping carefully so that you know what you’re looking for or not what you assume you’re getting in return for your dollars, for a small little unit that it is and what it can do it’s all about what you want and need, so good luck do your research well enough to suit your needs well then go ahead and buy it and if it’s not well that’s all on you. For me it was a good value for my need. John B.Read full review
