Sony portiable bluetooth speaker is not a good value becuase the batteries will fail and fixing the speaker is a handfull. The red acquired was to be a secondary speaker and ended up as a replacement. The original was a while speaker that basiccaly began to fail with the bluetooth connecting and dsiconnecting indicating a power problem. The while speaker failed to shutdown when directed and finally one of the batteries failed to allow it to recharge there by rendering the speaker inoperative. So, my opinion is not favoriable.
