I was pleasantly surprised. I have always wanted to have a class A power amplifier. Hooked it up easily to my vintage new large advents and the amp easily powered the speakers. The new large advents sound better with this tube amplifier than they ever had in the 43 years since I bought them new. Was concerned about hum from the reviews but none was apparent to me. Not sure if the tubes are original or not but they sound great so I am not yet ready to roll them. I am using the signal out for another amplifier and it works well.
