In short I would say yes. A couple things I would like to be different. First would be a built in view finder. I use a the added on ev and it works great but feels delicate. Second the folding view screen on the back is useful but a full articulating one would be nice. That being said I have had a blast using this camera. Almost all of my lenses are EF mount so I use a Viltrox adapter. From a 10-22mm to a 150-600mm Sigma and all work great. I’ve taken some beautiful photos. It’s lightweight easy and to handle. It has a lot of settings but many of your basics and if you’ve used other Canons it’s very similar. I wanted a 90d but saved a little money getting this and was not disappointed. The autofocus tracking is better than 90d. Great travel camera. These are just random photos I took with this camera. Read full review

This is a poor’s man camera to Sony when you compare the price. But it hold its own with quality and operation. Only thing missing was the stabilization for video. If it had that, this would be the perfect go to camera for pictures and videos. Still highly recommend.
