Customer Q&A

Q
will this center be a good match for jbl studio 590?

A
I am personally impressed with this speaker. It's a great match for my JBL stage floor standers and JBL speakers seem to have a consistent voicing style, so I would give it a try. It's well worth the money in my humble opinion.

I think the studio 520c would be the better match. However, most center channels will be overshadowed by the studio 590s. Most sound gets run through the center if you have one and you might feel disappointed by a small center when compared to the much much larger 590s. I would run without a center and see how a phantom center sounds.
