About the Metra Tailgate TV Mount
Turn your tailgate or trailer hitch into an instant entertainment center with the sturdy, easy to use Tailgate TV Mount. It's compatible with most 32” to 55” flat-screen TVs with a VESA-compliant mounting hole pattern. The mount is pictured here with a pickup, but it attaches directly to a standard 2” hitch receiver, which is found on many other vehicles, too.
The Tailgate TV Mount is a breeze to assemble, install and break down. You can extend the arm and adjust the pole up or down to find the ideal TV viewing position. When you're done watching TV, simply loosen the lock nut, slide the TV off the pole, and you're ready to go.
The mount must be secured to your vehicle's trailer hitch using a hitch pin (not included). All other TV mounting hardware, including brackets, spacers, screws, bolts and a lock pin are included for assembly. Do NOT attempt to drive your vehicle with the Tailgate TV Mount in place.

This sturdy TV mount is compatible with any 32" to 55" flat screen television that is VESA compliant and hooks into a standard 2" hitch receiver, found on many vehicles. It's easy to assemble, install and break down. You can extend the arm and adjust the pole up or down to find the perfect position for your ideal TV viewing position. The mount works when the tailgate is up or down, or on any vehicle that has a 2" hitch receiver. When you're done watching TV and ready to head into the game, simply loosen the lock nut, slide the TV off the pole, and you're ready to go.
Note: You must remove the mount prior to driving. Do not attempt to drive your vehicle with the TV Tailgate Mount in place.
Compatibility: The TV Tailgate Mount (TGML64) by Helios supports 32" to 55" flat-panel televisions that are up to 50lbs and VESA compliant. This TV Tailgate Mount works with 100 x 100, 200 x 200, 400 x 400 and 600 x 400 patterns. It comes with M4, M5, M6, and M8 mounting hardware. The TV Tailgate Mount hooks into a standard 2" hitch receiver and can be used with the tailgate up or down. The TV Tailgate Mount allows you to to adjust its height or depth to accommodate many tailgate size.
- The mount must be secured to your vehicle's trailer hitch using a hitch pin (not included). All other TV mounting hardware, including brackets, spacers, screws, bolts and a lock pin are included for assembly.
- Additional hardware may be required for your specific model of TV. For example; shorter or longer screws, thicker or slimmer washers or spacers. These additional accessories can often be found at your local hardware store.
- Requires adapter (sold separately) for use with 1.25" hitch receivers. Available at many local and online auto stores.
Weatherproof: With a durable black powder coat finish, the Helios Tailgate Mount (TGML64) is weatherproof for rain or shine.
Note: Even though the Helios Tailgate Mount is weatherproof, your flat-panel TV may not be. If you are not using a weatherproof TV (like SunBrite TV), make sure you do not expose your television to rain, snow, and extremely hot or cold temperatures.
