The Western Mountaineering Flight Pants offer more warmth and added weather protection to keep you in comfort mode when the mercury drops and the weather conditions become more challenging. The Flight pants are stuffed plump with 850 fill power goose down and weigh just 12.5oz (360 grams) per pair, yet they can pack down quite small because the insulation is so compressible. For added protection against moisture and abrasion, these pants feature Gore Windstopper laminated outer shell fabric on the seat and knees. Microfiber outer shell fabric is utilized for the rest of the garment for increased breathability and reduced weight. Features include an adjustable waist belt, adjustable ankle closure with draft protection and dual full length, two-way separating YKK coil side zippers with locking sliders.

These are typical WM quality. The fabric is called Microlite XP. It reminds me of the fabric on the MH Ghost Whisperer. It is ripstop, but so lite it's hard to believe. Ditto for the Gore Windstopper fabric on the knees to cuffs) on front and seat. Don't think of normal Windstopper- this is tough but super light weight. They are very nice. They have a really good loft. They are very warm. No front zipper. They have full length side zippers. They have a waistband that can be tightened if needed. I would recommend them to be used for under outer layer.

Q Sizing on the down flight pants; my waist is large measuring 48 inches. Will the extra large fit? What is the inseam size on xlarge? What is the return policy on these pants. If I open the package, try them on and they don't fit?
