This is a great full-featured pack. Plenty of easy access pockets. This pack will hold up to a 3-liter hydration bladder. This pack is very stable and you can really load it down. A perfect combination of lightweight, handy features, quality materials.

I have a variety of backpack brands and Osprey seems to be leading the way for my needs. I wanted to have a dayhike pack that can accept a 3 liter water bladder and essentials for spring and summer dayhikes. This pack is it! Osprey provides organizational needs with pockets on 1 shoulder strap and 2 on the substantial harness as well as the pack access with rainfly. The pack br... Read more

Needed a good size day pack for hiking and found the Stratos 24. After reading many reviews pertaining to day packs I settled on this one mainly because of it's back support. There's plenty of room in the pack to carry almost everything you need for a day long... Read more

The shape makes it harder to put stuff in but no big deal.
The side mesh pockets are all but useless you can't even get your and inside them.
There are no spots to really lash anything to.
It could really use a back open pocket for maps and such.
Last the hydration pocket has a place for the hanger but it is on the wr... Read more

I bought this pack for my wife who is tough as nails but very picky about these kind of things (shoes, cloths, packs, sleeping bags, beds, etc.) Think Princess and the pea. I have an Osprey Atmos for backpacking and love the way it carries so thought we would try the Stratos for her day pack. I was honestly expecting her to find something wrong with it and send it back but lo a... Read more
I'm not sure on the exact dimensions, I would guess 5 inches long and 3 inches high. They are pretty large. An iPhone 5 would definitely fit in there with plenty of room to spare.
