I already own two Aether 60s, in my 'actual' size of Man's medium, but I wanted a pack that was smaller/better suited for airline travel. My scheme was to buy the Ariel 55 in a size XS, then swap out the harness and hip belt for a men's medium. I haven't carried the new pack yet, but the harness is perfect. love this pack, heavy but worth the weight

I wish they would have made some of the exterior straps 1/2" and omitted some of the straps to make the pack lighter...but over time, I can remove some I don't think I need. great padding in the shoulders and hips

superb practicality and comfort

Good pack even for first time backpacker. Distributed weight well even when doubted 1st few minutes. Seems like its a little heavy but works very well with straps and pockets for everything.

I took this bag on it's maiden voyage over Thanksgiving weekend. After nine miles, the bag felt as light and a comfortable as it did when I put it on.
