I needed just a bit more than my 20L day pack and this with its outside water bladder space gives me a LOT more room. Straps are not quite as comfortable as my Deuter but still solid. This is great for long day hike or overnight and big enough for when i want to travel carryon only, it'll fit under the seat. Wish they'd make this type of bag with a front access to main compa... I am not a gear junkie like a lot of people, but, I wanted to upgrade my daypack. I did some research, found this highly recommended and bought it. I used it for the first time this weekend and I loved it. It has a useful, intuitive layout and evenly distributes the weight. Well worth the extra money. Lots of room for rain gear, extra layers, and food. The waist belt pockets are great for smaller items you want quick access to. All it needs to be perfect is another loop so I can more easily carry my poles.
Pros:
None
Cons:
needs another loop to attach poles
Best Used for:
day hikes

We only provide the specifications that Gregory gives us as far as pack volume. In general, a total volume (in this case 24 liters) includes all available storage compartments (both the main compartment and the helmet compartment sounds accurate). The dimensions we provided are also an approximate dimension. The pack has kind of a trapezoidal sh...
