The Granite Gear Crown2 60 is a multi-day backpack that's been praised for its broad features, comfortable design, and lightweight construction. The Crown2 backpack features a compression molded polypropylene frame sheet with reinforced channels and die-cut holes, which minimize weight but doesn't sacrifice structural integrity. Plus, the bag design is equipped with a variety of comfort options like a foam back panel with ventilation channels and a fully adjustable hip belt.
Compared to other Multi-Day Packs (50-75L), it's available in two color options and a variety of sizes, so there's an option for short, regular, and tall torso types. No matter what size bag you get, it will weigh less than 2.5 pounds unloaded. Along with the 60 liters of storage space, the bag features a roll-top main compartment opening that has a centered dual strap and buckle for quick access and easy compression. Constructed from high-tenacity nylon, the Granite Gear bag is sure to last. Gear up today!

After 4 treks with this pack, 3 to Glacier NP and one to CO, for a total of well north of 240 miles, I think I am qualified to give this pack a objective rating. For the features (hip belt pockets, adjustable belt, side pockets, lid, huge main compartment, large expansion compartment on back, multiple tension straps, daisy chain on shoulder straps, ability to add bungee cords a... The granite gear crown 60 is an excellent lightweight, almost ultralight, backpack, holding about 50 L in the side, side and back pockets in main pocket if the brain is left off. I have hiked in the winter and fall and spring with the backpack for multiple day hikes and found it to be very useful and comfortable to carry provided. It’s not loaded to heavy. I found that when I ... Read more

I like the granite gear crown 2 because it is the besif both worlds, not has fragile as something like a zpacks, but much lighter the a traditional backpack. It has everything you need, and nothing you don’t. I really like the roll top design that allows the pack volume to change as your trip goes on. The only thing I would say is that the bottom of the pack worries me a little... Read more

first thing I looked at were the straps. on the small side I thought but after a few dozen days hiking it was clear they were tough and anchored very well then the mesh I thought is it tough and it is. I am on my second crown2 and I already knew it was a great riding pack. first the waist belt is adjustable and the choice of lengths is nice. materials are all quite good and I... Read more

Simple, lightweight, and spacous! Make sure to measure your torso length to get a proper fit. Adjustable hip belts are very nice. Hip packs are large enough to store a fire kit or a whistle/ multitool, or a few snack bars. Water bottle pockets are huge and large enough to fit 2x 1L smartwater bottle's each. The brain capacity is enough for my poncho tarp, trowl, paracord, ti sta... Read more

I'll premise this review with the fact that I haven't hiked with it yet. The support system seems too flimsy to carry anything over 25-30 lbs comfortably. This will be my lightweight 1-2 night hiking bag, because more days would require more weight, unless you spend a lot of money to be ultra light. Picked up bag for $108 on sale, so hard to beat that price. I would also look a... Read more
