Based on a U. S. Marine Corps design, the ultra-sturdy four-season, four-person Assault Outfitter tent is built to withstand driving rain, blowing sand, and arctic cold. The full-coverage Storm Shield rain fly keeps rain and snow out and creates two vestibules for storing packs, wet boots, cooking gear, and more.image

Features of Eureka Assault Outfitter 4 Tent - 4 Person, 3 Season:

  • Design is based upon the US Marine's Combat tent for inherent toughness
  • 3-pole Free-standing dome design
  • Fly fabric has UV inhibitors added to extend UV durability
  • Front vestibule offers ample storage space and features #10 straight zippers for increased durability; the vestibule has multiple configurations including awning and High/Low venting
  • Fly door panels feature a snivel lock with side-release buckle to eliminate wind-driven opening
  • 2-Piece mesh/breathable doors with #10 zippers have High/Low venting capability
  • Mesh vents in the tent body can be closed with breathable fabric panels to control ventilation
  • Pole sleeves are lined with polyester oxford for durability and ease of set up

Tent quality

Haven’t been able to setup my tent yet because of winter. Did inspect the materials though. Appear to be heavy duty, which is what I was looking for. A little confused on the pole storage. Instructions said to store polled assembled. Is this really necessary? My storage space is limited. Also would have been nicer if tent came with “footprint “.

Eureka Assault 4 Person 3 Season Tent

Great tent! Fair Price. Too heavy/bulky for backpacking, but great for car travels. Easy/quick set up. Room for 2 xlg Exped self inflating sleep mats with about 3 feet in between to stow gear. About 5 foot tall (outside height). 8’ x 10’ footprint works well giving a 2 foot “clean zone” in one vesitbule.
