These are not the same product advertised. The frames are not metal but rather a very cheap plastic. They are also very large and not tight fitting. One of the pairs is clearly marked "non polarized". Comparable to a dollar store item.

Extremely light weight sunglasses

These were inexpensive and their extreme light weight is reflected by this. That sounds a bit misleading, but I have my doubts that these classes will last for very long as they are on the flimsy side. HOWEVER, they work very well and I do like them.

The benefits of such lightweight and inexpensive glasses are that they are a great consideration for when you want to wear sunglasses but you don't want to damage or loose your expensive sunglasses to your activity (boating, climbing, work, etc.).

These create absolutely no nose bridge strain from being too heavy.

These easily flex to fit fat heads like mine.

There are problems with being too light and that is you can run the risk of having them blown off your head in a high wind. This is a problem with all glasses and the lighter the glasses, the more apt this is to happen.

Also, they are advertised as being polarized and testing for polarization by rotating the lens of one pair over the lens of another pair should result in an opaque image as the polarization crosses when held up to a light source. I do notice a slight change of lighting when trying this, but the image does not become opaque, indicating that the polarization is extremely weak. Polarization works to reduce glare and being so lightly polarized, these don't appear to do much for reducing glare beyond that of regular sunglasses.

Now updating my review. I have been wearing these for months. I thought they would break and be trash. So far, none have broken. They ride comfortably on the nose for many hours because they are so light. I really like this a lot. The price was great as well. I still have all four pairs, two ride in cars, the yellows I wear as safety classes when doing yard work. The last pair is a spare.
