I see that several reviewers have complained that this shirt is not denim or denim weight cotton. It isn’t a jeans shirt. It’s a soft, light to middle weight summer shirt. Which is what I wanted and , for me, it’s great. It’s attractive and has a nice trim fit without being skimpy. Not boxy and not skin tight. My shirt (blue stripe) is not 100% cotton. It’s a blend with a silky finish. Perhaps the fabric content and weight varies with the color. But the blue stripe is poly-cotton.
I haven’t washed the shirt yet so I may revise my review. But when the shirt arrived, it had packing creases. I put it in the dryer with a load of wet clothes needing low heat. It came out beautifully neat and without losing size or shape. I’m pleased.
