I have to give the chinese credit when credit is due. I paid $30 for this and I'm amazed. Heavy duty aluminum handle assembly. For those who have purchased items like the Nebo 300 flashlight, this is the same quality build. Great looking, great design, great quality and a great array of camping and survival options. Knife and speer not perfect but still great for the price. Knife a little sharp but will need your attention. Flashlight is a well made basic design. High, low, strobe function. No step down dimming like the Nebo but she is reasonably bright, just guessing, maybe 500 lm. It's bright! I may take my dremel and knotch out the locking positions a little more, not a biggie. Seemingly a good quality stainless steel shovel, again I suggest sharpening the cutting edge like the knife. The saw edge is decent but I will make it my own as well. No instructions on assembly so you will need to use the common sense manual we tend to default to when dealing with Chinese merchandise. Personally I'm still trying to figure out how to have the smaller compass section fit along with the LED flashlight. I'll figure it out. Bottom line, buy this while you can for the $30 range. This one is going in one of my bug out bags. I will tell you that these are a little on the heavy side for bug out bags but if you want something you can rely on and provides a range of functionality, I highly recommend it. Hey, it will make a great item for home or car too so nothing is lost from my point of view.
