Commander Legends Draft Boosters are full of legendary creatures, with two in every pack. Welcome back beloved classics or meet the 71 commanders introduced in the set. With them comes the return of popular mechanics, like partner—play with two commanders instead of one!

How to Draft Commander Legends:

Command the Draft, Radiant, Serra Archangel

1. Grab 3 Boosters and Draft 2 Cards at a Time.

Unlike in other forms of Commander, you can draft and play as many copies of the same card as you want. Remember to keep an eye out for powerful legendary creatures to play as your commander!

2. Build a 60-Card Commander Deck.

Add in some lands and build your deck. Let your commander guide you! Each legendary creature in the set can shine with the right suite of cards backing it up. Read them carefully and look for cards that support their strengths.

3. Battle it out with 4–8 Friends.

Draft with four or eight players, then play games in groups of four. Each Commander Legends draft is a freewheeling back-and-forth battle in which alliances are formed, friends are betrayed, and grudges are repaid with a vengeance. In the end, only one player will be left standing . . . until the next draft begins, of course!

    At the time of review the draft box was purchased for $106 directly from Amazon. The box came in great condition and no notable dings or tears on the box or seal. The reason I purchased this set was to have a set with many good cards to draft from. Very fun set and worth the money to just draft alone. Card singles value wise also exceeded my expectation. Some notable pulls I had was a Mana Drain, Opposition Agent, and several bond lands. Plenty of collecting and deck building potential here for EDH players. Even many of the commons and uncommons were worthwhile (arcane signets, command towers, mana rocks). Overall a great purchase for any commander players.

    First of all I'd like to point out that this set doesn't include box toppers nor does it claim to. Second if you want your box of Commander Legends to come in a shipping box versus padded envelope, order 2 or more boxes at a time. Good set with nice reprints and new cards. Some packs have 2 or 3 rares/mythics in them. The foils warp quickly. I wish Wizards of the Coast would discontinue them. They're unplayable. It's a gamble buying booster boxes for money value. Out of 3 boxes I came out ahead about $50.

    If you like playing the buy-a-box game, Commander Legends is a great set with some high value cards that will get you to the threshold. So far I’ve bought four boxes using the net from selling cards from the packs I’ve opened in prior boxes. In many cases I’ve been selling duplicates. And keeping some high value cards (like a full set of the bond lands, commander plate, and opposition agent) for myself.

    I enjoy commander and there are a lot of valuable pieces to brew new decks in the set. In the “year of the commander” there are a lot of synergies with the existing commander precons from this year to replace some of chaff in those decks.

    Also there’s quality commons for people who like pauper.

    So I have bought four total boxes. I can tell you that the two I opened had an average value of 160 to 120. So I got the value for the money per box (paid 105 a box). And some great cards. No lotus but that's probably a good thing for my play group. I loved the variety of mythics you could get in this set. And the etched foil (avg 2 per box) were great random additions. Due to covid I never got to draft with this set but I bet it would pretty enjoyable the way they set it up. As a pack cracking experience it is a 7 out of 10...at lot of bunk cards (it is 20 cards per pack). Mostly the mythics make up the value with a few exceptions with expensive rares but this can make the box a make it or break it experience. I was lucky, I got 6 mythics in each of my boxes. I did set aside two boxees as a moderate investment. I think it will be awhile before this product increases in value to any significant amount but long term, I think a lot of the 2020 product line could be a good hold.

    All my boxes were sealed BUT if you buy just ONE box from amazon directly...man they just stick it in a paded envelope and when it arrives there are just dents....mostly very minor and fine for cracking but for investment buy at least two so they are boxed up and arrive mint. This dings a star off, mostly for the single box shipping directly from amazon...not the product. The product was great!

I recommend ensuring you will be home when it is delivered because it is shipped in a plastic bag if you only order a single box (I can confirm this was the case for me, at least). My box was wrapped with WotC plastic wrap and all of the packs looked intact and not tampered with. I bought as a gift for my fiance and I to draft with some other friends. We couldn't help ourselves and decided to open a few packs before our friends can come over to play. In just 5 packs we opened three mythic rares (including one Jeweled Lotus).
