I purchased this bunny light as an Easter gift to myself, but I plan on using it year round. I payed more for it than similar solar decorations. It came securely packed in styrofoam to prevent breakage, and within a sturdy cardboard box suitable for gifting. After a sunny day, the bunny's glass 'crystal ball' glows softly for 6-8 hours. I have issue with the balance of the piece. The ball seems to be heavier than the hollow resin bunny, so I frequently find him fallen over. He's on soft mulch in my garden so breakage of the glass hasn't been an issue, but I think its durability could be compromised if displayed in an area with rocks or concrete. And I don't see it, but my husband thinks the bunny's expression is menacing; the bunny is definitely not smiling - as a real bunny wouldn't, of course - but his expression is a not one to welcome you into the garden. While I'm enjoying this piece, I don't think I'd repurchase primarily because of the balance issue.

If anyone is aware let me know. We got it for my mom in remembrance of her bunnies she had and sadly the glass just broke instantly. So like I suggest u may want to glue a stone or rock to it or a strap it to a stick if it's going on dirt. Also it is not as bright as you may think. But it's very nice to see when you approach the door.
