I was nervous because reviews said 3hr assembly but thank god I listen to the 1 person who said 30 min. I didn’t even think it took 30 min, maybe 20 tops. It looks great. I haven’t secured mine to the wall because I’m not sure where it’ll be permanently but it’s really really nice, I love it! Assembly was not hard, I cracked one small piece and I’ll tell you how to avoid that problem.When assembling the diagonal shelves hold them in place and use your hand to screw all the screws for that step in before fully screwing them in to make sure it’s completely held in place. If you don’t do that you may risk it not aligning all the holes and cracking the shelf. When I cracked the shelf I removed the screw and did what I’m suggesting you do. After that it was easy to put the rest together. I have 30 books on the shelves and it can easily hold about 10 more.I’m thinking about buying another one and putting them on the sides of my living room floating tv stand. I’ll update my pic when I do it. Enjoy

I will say that if you don't have great vision it can be somewhat hard to get everything lined up but overall it took less than 30 mins to get it together. It looks good and is sturdy enough so far.

Assembly was kind of tedious, it’s 13 parts and 71 screws (more if you attach it to the wall) and the screwing get repetitive and a little uncomfortable on your hands and wrists because some of the screws kinda need to be forced into the holes. Overall, not a huge problem, more of an inconvenience.

Instructions aren’t 100% clear but a little common sense goes a long way.

When you see “screw 3” on the instruction, it goes between the “screw 4” holes. Not all the pictures label that.

Anyways, it’s really not bad, just takes about an hour and some patience.

Would buy again :)

This item was pleasantly sturdy and easy to put together. There is a slight forward tilt to it but not noticeable unless your looking from the side of it. And not enough tilt to fall forward either. There is space to hold 8-10 standard sized books on each shelve. And when the book shelf is full it still does not tip over in any direction. Very happy with this purchase and definitely worth the price though I didn't believe it was expensive for those who are on hard times this book shelf will last for awhile, no warping or bending or give in an weight related experiences.
