While searching around for a 12v fridge to take up my upcoming dispersed camping trip I had to find one that would arrive in time, and the options that I originally looked at did not have an arrival window that would work. When I narrowed it down to inexpensive fridges that would arrive, this one stood out to me.
Why it stood out? Because it doesn't look like the typical budget fridge which all have basically the same look. This fridge looks like a fun cooler and it is just different. I was worried about the lack of reviews on Amazon and also the unknown quality of the compressor. There are some budget options that have name-brand compressors, but I would have gotten them in time.
After plugging it in and running for a couple of days with AC at home it maintained its temperate (with about 12 beverage cans in it) between 33 to 39 degrees F (I had it set to 35). This is an acceptable fluctuation for me. While the draw while cooling was between 30-50w and then it sat at approximately 0-1w when ideal according to the reads of two different power stations. As an overnight test I plugged in my Jackery 160 into the DC output at 100% charge at around 9 pm at night and about 12-13 hours later I still had 13% left on the Jackery.
I had no issues with this unit for a single camping trip. The plastic on the outside does seem a bit prone to scratches as it is hard plastic. But it did the job and kept my food and drinks cool with outside temperatures in the 80s during the day in late April Arizona shade. I would recommend it for a different-looking inexpensive 12v fridge.
