These are functional and offered at very good price. The siding action to expand or close the clamp is not real smooth. I tried oiling the bar, but it didn’t help too much. I even sanded the paint off the slide hoping the action would be better. It didn’t seem to help much either. They are functional and if that doesn’t bother you…then it’s a very good price. I priced Dewalt clamps at Home Depot and the similar size is $13.00 apiece….so this is a steal. I would buy them again….they get the job done.

These make harbor freights look and feel like pro quality. They came packaged spooled together in packing tape so no packing at all. Comes with orange plastic clamp jaws, not rubber. 4 of the 8 clamps don't even have tension, the 4 that worked don't hold consistent tension after gripping which would be a disaster after glue ups. Instantly threw them back in the Amazon bag and returned them. HF has 4 inch clamps with actual rubber jaws and good grip strength for $3 each. That's where I'll be going instead of these cheap POS.

These work for what I needed them, which is holding together model pieces for the glue to dry. And it's small models, like 1:20 scale. If you need them for anything even remotely more substantial than that, I wouldn't recommend. As others have said, the trigger tends to slip when adjusting the width. It hasn't been enough for me to toss them yet but as I use them I'm sure it will get worse. Not a very good product overall, even if it is acceptable for my current needs.
