Used this for my front door area. I have a small patio right outside. I wanted to use it for the morning sun to shade my front door and windows. It did not fit like i wanted, but I think it does a great job for what it is. I would only say, know your dimensions and remember your geometry to use a triangle. I am a Kansas flint hills dweller and it has withstood some wind and some good rains. Waiting to see what the winter holds for it.
