this is indeed the cheap battle vest you are looking for...look no further...mine fits true to size i'd say...i'm 6'2" 185lbs and i went with Large because i wanted a snug-ish fit,and it is perfect,especially after washing and drying after i received it...it fit right out of the box but i think the wash tightened it up just a smidge,which is what i hoped for...it's not super thin and it's not super heavy either, so it should be good for any weather and hold up to the most brutal of mosh pits...mine came with a paisley design sewn in the inside and not the American flag design shown in the pix,which is fine either way...the main pockets on the side were sewn shut for some reason so i yanked those threads out and now i've got pockets for my hands...interior pockets too,and chest pockets...so if you're looking for a solid cheap battle vest, i do think this is the one you'll like...i'm writing this review specifically for the folks looking to make a battle vest or bikers looking for a cut for your club patches...it fits the bill...party on
