A MID-SIZE PACK

The roomy design features four distinct compartments including a main compartment with a padded laptop sleeve and room for books and binders. A handy insulated pocket keeps lunch and snacks cool, while a mix of organizer pockets keep essentials easy to grab. It's available in a wide range of prints and colors to suit everyone's taste.

CARE:

If your Dakine bag gets dirty, we recommend hand washing with mild soap (like Nikwax Tech Wash), cold water and a soft bristle brush. If hand washing is not going to do the trick, use a front loader washing machine. To ensure your backpack doesn't get tangled, place inside a pillowcase or mesh bag before washing. Always use cold water, mild soap and run on a gentle cycle. Never bleach your pack. Hang to dry in a warm but shady place, ensuring both inside and out are dry before storing.

I bought this for my man, who has type 1 diabetes to carry his insulin pens in the insulated pouch, along with his other diabetic needs on a whim and the purchase exceeded our expectations for how useful it has been.. We both love the compact size and clean styling. It’s very well made and still looks great after a few months of constant use. He ended up loving the insulated pouch not only for his insulin, but also his zero sugar and nutritional drinks, depending on his needs throughout the day. His only complaint is the handle at the top is very thin and he’s afraid that with the weight in drinks ( can handle about six twelve ounce cans) the strain will eventually cause it to tear out at that spot where the handle meets the backpack.

Wer einen sehr soliden, gut verarbeiteten Rucksack mit ausreichend Stauraum fürs Macbook, ein paar Schreibsachen und die Butterbrotdose nebst Trinkflasche und Taschenschirm sucht, ist mit diesem Teil bestens bedient. Die Fachaufteilung ist gut gelungen und die Fächer sind groß genug für all das, was man so unterwegs dabei haben möchte. Dabei gibt es auch kleine Fächer (z.B. für Visitenkarten) und 2 Stifthülsen, sowie eine kleine Reißverschlußtasche (z.B. für Geldbeutel oder Schlüssel) innenliegend. Praktisch finde ich das gesonderte, gefütterte Brillenfach, das man von außen erreicht. Natürlich kann man es auch für anderes nutzen. Einzig das außen angesetzte "Isolierfach" überzeugt mich nicht vollends. Ja; es ist irgendwie zusätzlich isoliert. Aber wie eine echte Kühltasche kommt es mir nicht vor. Praktisch ist es aber allemal: von gut zu erreichen - so können auch keine Lebensmittel versehentlich den sonstigen Inhalt verschmutzen. Sehr praktisch finde ich die beiden außen liegenden Fächer für Trinkflaschen. Sowohl kleine 0,5 Liter-Flaschen, wie auch größere Edelstahltrinkflaschen (0,7 l) halten darin fest und problemlos. Die zweite Tasche nutze ich für einen kleinen Taschenschirm, den ich so immer griffbereit habe, wenn ich mit dem Rucksack unterwegs bin- Brauchen würde ich ihn für den Rucksack allerdings nicht; der ist mindestens bei leichteren Regenfällen wasserdicht.
