Portable Bluetooth speakers have been around for awhile. I've been tempted several times to try one... even got my husband one as a Christmas present a few years ago. I didn't dive in, tho, until this speaker was advertised on the Treasure Truck. To be honest, I had been looking for an excuse to go to a Treasure Truck location -- I find the whole idea charming and whacky -- but I hadn't been truly motivated to purse the Treasure Truck until this speaker was offered. I am delighted to say that both the speaker and the Treasure Truck lived up to my expectations. If you have a Treasure Truck in your city, try it out. Just follow the trail bubbles and heavy bass line.
And, if you've been wavering about Bluetooth speakers, waver no more. The sound volume and quality are impressive given its size, which is slightly smaller than a baseball. Obviously, it's super portable and, so far, the battery life has been amazing. It's USB-rechargeable, which is a blessing and curse, but I'm hopeful.
I am hosting a party soon and plan on getting a few more of these to have music all over the backyard without blasting it all over the neighborhood. My neighbors will never be the wiser. :)

I got an SRS-XB10 for my wife and was really pleasantly surprised by the nice sound quality and rich bass tones, so I bought this one for myself when I started using my phone for reading aloud on a daily basis. I could not be more pleased at the $48 price-point and I've found it to be a very useful device to have.

So far the battery life has been excellent over 3 weeks on the first charge, using it for about an hour a day with a couple of time having accidentally left it on for 3 or 4 hours.

Sound quality is really very impressive for such a compact speaker, and I find it a good balance with portability.

Speaker is compact and easy to transport in a bag or by the carry strap. It is not as loud as the description would have you believe. It is about on par with other, middle of the road, speakers. Bluetooth is really slick and reliable with this, and has a wider range than other speakers I've owned. Battery life is only a few hours at best, depending on volume (which you're going to have on high all the time, if you're like me). Luckilly you can use it while it's plugged into a charger (not sure if that's recommended, but it does work). When battery is getting low, the sound cuts about half it's volume until you plug it into a charger.

No not bone thumping loudness but crisp clear and strong audio in a package that says ‘take me anywhere, please’. If your friend has one you can link them for stereo playback.

It doesnt produce enough sound to fill an entire house, but it's perfect for filling a small room. My wife uses this speaker when she's cooking in the kitchen and it's perfect.

I like the amount of bass this thing pushes. If you're holding it in your hand while music is playing, you'd almost think it was about to jump right out your hand because of the bass. It's got some serious thump to it.

It's extremely easy to pair with other devices and the battery lasts for a long time.

I was happy and the sound quality that was very good with nice tone. But, DO NOT expect to take it outside of an enclosed environment to enjoy it. This device depends on walls. It has essentially NO volume and is certainly not what I needed for patio or deck use. I'm sure you can do better.
