LONDON FOG Huntington Hardside Spinner Luggage, Olive, Carry-On 20-Inch

There’s a good deal to like and nothing to dislike about this suitcase. There are some unanswered questions which do exist.As to the good, the case material is apparently extremely rugged – enormously more so than the textile suitcase this will replace. The pull handle deploys and stows easily. The case is likely the slickest and easiest to roll or spin than any I’ve tried. The tandem casters do seem to work better than the single ones found on other suitcases. I also consider it terrific looking. The weight feels very slightly heavier than the textile case but not overly so. The few ounces/grams of extra mass are welcome tradeoffs for the looks and durability of this case compared to a textile.The case is a riot of zippers which tend to be a bit confusing at least at first. There’s an expander zipper which gives about an inch or 3 cm to the width of the case. Please see the photo to get a good deal of the optional added space. Another identical zipper opens and secures the case. Inside there’s a zipper secured flap as well as zipper secured pouches and a separate carry on pouch useful to hold those TSA quantity limited liquids. The inside has good capacity and is extremely versatile.There’s even a mystery zipper. Please see the photo with the arrow. That arrow is pointing to a zipper closed seam with the pull located on the other side of the cloth. I found no way to access that compartment so the pull was up but I was able to tease the zipper without its pull to see that the other side of the cloth was nothing but the case and two cleats likely there for strength.I didn’t see any instructions on resetting the lock combination but figured it out. Using something like a ballpoint pen, depress the small button to the right of the combination while the current combination is set. While keeping it depressed, change the combo to whatever you wish. Release the button and slide the opener and the new combo will now work.My only concern is the zippers. They strike me as a lighter duty of about the same gauge as the one which secures my sweatshirt. I doubt they can be replaced if they fail so the ones securing the two sides would render the entire case useless on failure. The other zipper fails would result in inconvenience. I like this case and welcome it as a replacement for my soft sided one, but as of this writing, I can’t determine if the zippers have what it takes to go the distance so I removed one star from the otherwise five due to this doubt. As I use this case, if developments occur, I’ll post them by editing this review.
