Great product, but not what I thought I ordered

The product is high quality and I installed it. However, my intention was to order the shelves with the pipe bracket, which is assembled to be under the shelf and would have matched another shelf in the room that had the pipe as well. However, as you can see in the pic, I received shelves with a floating pipe that holds the shelves up by "floating" the bracket into a predrilled holes in the back of the shelves. This caused a unique challenge that the shelves were installed in a small area, approximately the same width as the length of the shelves. This led to not being able to align the brackets with the studs for sturdier assembly. However, I used some anchor on screws, to help hold it up and created a project that pushed my carpenter skills a bit more than I was prepared for. Yes, I made a trip to the hardware store for extra hardware that was required. In the end, they look great! This product is amazing, and I am not sure where the mix up occurred. I would have rather received the pipe bracket to match, but I was on a time crunch to get these installed and preferred to use what came in, rather than repackage and return. Again, Great product...just a mix up regarding the brackets on the order. The wood and sturdiness is high quality and they look great.

We purchased the 36" shelves from New England Woodcrafters, and loved them so much that we ordered a set of 24" shelves. The early american stain is the perfect accent to our new painted cabinets. We love the industrial pipes combined with the thick wood shelving. We had a problem with two of the brackets. I phoned John, and he sent me a new set within days. It is nice to deal with a company that stands behind its products and makes good for any problems that might occur. I highly recommend these shelves. You won't be disappointed!

I received and installed these shelves yesterday. I love that while I bought them through Amazon, they were made New England Woodcrafters and I got a typed note from the gentleman and his son with the shelves! They are beautiful and sturdy and were easy to install. I put them in my dining room above my hutch but they could be used in just about every room of the house. So nice to buy a beautiful and functional handmade product from the USA!!
