I installed a pair and hooked it up with a projector through the AUX in. I noticed that the sound was intermittent. It was on for a few seconds, then gone for few seconds. Changing the source and cables did not make any differences.
Per Pyle support, I requested for a replacement. Same issue with the replacement.
Made some experiments. It turned out that for AUX source, it has sort of 'auto shutdown' if the input is low.

If you are expecting a nice background music from the AUX source, find another product.
Did not try with bluetooth.

These speakers accomplish what I need them to do. They are average at best, but serve the purpose. I have never written a review, but felt compelled to do so this time.

Amazon Prime should take more pride in the items they send their customers. I am very upset that I received used speakers that had obviously been opened before. There was no template in the box for cutting out the hole in the acoustical tile, and this made the process much harder than it needed to be.

For the money you pay to Amazon, they should do better.

Don't test the sound quality sitting on your kitchen counter. I saw a lot of reviews where that's what it appears they did. The sound quality is pretty damn good for what you pay for. It has some bass but it's not a sub so don't expect that. My only gripe is the damn noises these things make when you connect and disconnect... the familiar loud bloop that you can't turn down is annoying, and the shrill double beep when you disconnect is arguably worse... stop making all of these speakers do that please and we will all be very happy!

But i'm still planning on buying a single 6.5 bass speaker. really great product. sounds a whole lot better than some restaurants have on their patios. My whole family and friends were impressed.
