Great light, hard install
This light looks really, really good when put up but man is it frustrating to get to that point of happiness. You will probably need around 3-4 hours of intense thought and time to put this together. I would plan on waking up early the day you plan to instal, go to your therapist, shrink and take a nap. Then drink some tea and have a walk by a beach or maybe forest to clear your mind. Then open the box, throw away the worthless sheet of “instructions” and begin. All of the lights have their own cord that needs to be pulled through the metal poles with hooks that attach to the circular lead to the ceiling. Each one is about a foot too long and needs to be cut down. They also supply wire nuts that would maybe fit 3 together, not 8. Get yourself some larger wire nuts that can fit 8 leads. You then are given a hook bracket to attach to your ceiling electrical box that is too short. You will need a gang box adapter to attach to. After you have that, install on the electrical box and try to hang your light. The nice thing is that it is light enough to hang by yourself and looks great when you are finished. It looks great but is it worth the pain of installing. Days after the install and using the Phillips Hue lights I think it was worth the pain and agony. Good luck and God speed. You will need it.

A nice looking light once installed. It took a long time to install with not great instructions. Remember you need to put the wires through the tubes. I didn’t the first time I put it together. One of the brackets that the lightbulbs is in doesn’t stay up but once I hung it it seems fine. I’m thinking of driving a screw or some glue to keep it in place. I’d buy it again if I needed it. It’s a nice looking light and having the Edison bulbs leaves a nice glow.

In theory, this light looks nice. I ordered the first one. It was missing one of the little hooks where the bars attach so it could not be installed. Plus a couple of the light sockets were loose on the ring so they would have pointed at funny angles. I returned that one and ordered another. The second one has all the parts as far as I can tell. But multiple sockets are loose. There is no obvious way to tighten up the sockets onto the ring. Since I cannot tighten the sockets and the bars attach to the sockets, I again cannot install this one. I mean, I could install it but I don't want a few of my sockets and bulbs sticking out at funny angles. I will return the second one too.

In case other’s reviews aren’t enough, here it is again. Beautiful light once it’s on the ceiling and wired in, but MAN it’s a time consuming assembly requiring a lot of patience. The top cover also doesn’t completely cover a standard 4” electrical box, so you have to get creative. In the end though, beautiful light, and good price.
