Gotten lots of compliments on this case. The black leather looks very neat and professional at work. At a quick glance it looks like real leather.

Edit: After 8 months of daily use there are very few signs of wear. At most a little bit of the faux leather got scratched off from the interior probably due to handbag zipper or something. The scratch is localized and is not splitting more which is surprising. Still looks brand new from the outside and protects my laptop from unwanted scratches while transferring in and out of bags. Highly recommend the black leather option due to its versatility and price point.

It was a challenge to put this cover on but it definitely stays once it's on. I would recommend the manufacturer to add a hole for the web cam as right now i'm not able to get on video when the cover is on.... and as mentioned, it's not the easiest to get on and off. Also, my computer loves to "breathe" which means the fan is always running. I would be great if the bottom had more of a lift to let the computer ventilate a little better.
