Great sounding speaker for close range listening.
I bought the Reykjavik during black friday and having already listened to it before I performed firmware update right away. The difference in sound quality is night and day, the lows have been greatly improved without sacrificing details and overall volume. Build quality is top notch like all Vifa products.My main use for this speaker is for watching movies and series while laying on the bed, and thanks to the omnidirectional sound I don't need to worry about moving it around for the perfect listening angle. Battery for me lasts between 6-8 hours at 70% volume which equals to several days of use.It charges pretty fast at 2A with the included cable and what I like the most about the ring light is that it serves as battery level indicator, as compared to my Vifa Helsinki which is hard to know how much juice it's got left. Some people have reported the volume buttons being hard to press, haven't had such issues with mine yet, after some use you will get used to the raised/recessed volume controls.Outdoor listening, not such a pleasant experience. The sound gets lost and even at maximum volume it sounds tiny and weak even at ~10ft listening distance. Still 5 stars for it's intended purpose: high end sound signature for indoors, multi directional close range listening. If you want a outdoor speaker with water resistance, just get a JBL flip4 or charge 3 instead.

My main use for this speaker is for watching movies and series while laying on the bed, and thanks to the omnidirectional sound I don't need to worry about moving it around for the perfect listening angle. Battery for me lasts between 6-8 hours at 70% volume which equals to several days of use.
It charges pretty fast at 2A with the included cable and what I like the most about the ring light is that it serves as battery level indicator, as compared to my Vifa Helsinki which is hard to know how much juice it's got left. Some people have reported the volume buttons being hard to press, haven't had such issues with mine yet, after some use you will get used to the raised/recessed volume controls.
Outdoor listening, not such a pleasant experience. The sound gets lost and even at maximum volume it sounds tiny and weak even at ~10ft listening distance. Still 5 stars for it's intended purpose: high end sound signature for indoors, multi directional close range listening. If you want a outdoor speaker with water resistance, just get a JBL flip4 or charge 3 instead.
