Great product for the $! Bought this for a NYC trip - wanted something black to hide dirt, not cutesy, touristy looking but functional and lightweight to tour the city AND look somewhat presentable at evening shows since we wouldn't have time to go back to hotel for a small purse. Lots of pockets inside and out, most importantly, top loading, meaning, some side zip pockets seem silly to me - stuff can easily fall out. I love the zippers - they are durable, not small that some catch the material! It rained and though the pack is not waterproof, more water resistant (should have sprayed Scotchguard on it prior) it held up against the downpour and dried quickly. Great bag girl, teen, mom. At first glance it looks like a Kipling brand. If it was it could easily go for $75. I usually don't write a review but after pouring over a lot of backpacks (and returning one) I thought I'd help someone else out with my experience cause I'm always appreciative of an honest review!

This is a great backpack for traveling. Too small for a school backpack but the perfect size for day trips. Great waterproof material, different compartments that are easy to access, and two water bottle holders. I’ve been looking for a backpack that can safely hold my camera. I put it in the middle pocket, which has no zipper or buttons, just the flap covering it. This was perfect because I could just reach in and easily grab my camera to take a picture.

Beneath the flap is deep pocket that has a drawstring. This is a no frills backpack. The only way this fell short when compared to some of the other backpacks I have is that this doesn’t have pen/pencil holders, or something to clip your keys to, or cardholder pockets. You still need to carry a wallet/wristlet with this bag. I gave it five stars as I found it really convenient to hold all the odd things I carry with me on vacation.

I absolutely love this backpack. I mostly use it for work (I'm a substitute teacher), so I put a lunch box, my 40oz water bottle, a book, planner and other personal items I need with me. I purchased this backpack for a theme park vacation- it was the perfect size for the essentials, but small and light enough that it wasn't a burden to carry. Lots of pockets some easier to access and some that were tucked away.The outside water bottle carriers were a great addition. We were able to carry two light weight sweatshirts without any problems.
My 18 year old would not give it back after the vacation- may have to purchase another one.
