NutriChef was created on the principle that healthy home cooking should be attainable to all, regardless of skill level and economic status. Starting in 2014, we noticed the disconnect in our lives and in the lives of those around us. We were so busy, always rushing forward, and our health and personal lives suffered. The description on here and on the single sheet instruction manual is completely false. I bought this for college lacrosse indoor tailgates. All the other descriptions were very clear that they only had DC power. This one specifically said you could plug in a dorm room or office. Even the paper included shows a separate AC plug slot, which by the way is NOT actually on the cooler. This is a complete rip-off. Will be returning.

ORIGINALLY, IT CAME WITH A RECEPTACLE FOR A 110V CORD BUT THAT WAS ELIMINATED AND THAT IS WHY THERE ARE SO MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT IT BEING ADVERTISED AS CAPABLE OF USING BOTH 12V AND 110V INPUT. BUT AN ADAPTER CAN BE PURCHASED THAT TRANSFORMS 110V TO 12V WHICH ALLOWS THE USER TO PLUG THE MALE PLUG INTO THE FEMAILE PLUG ON THE ADAPTER.

OTHERWISE, THE COOLER COMES WITH A TOWING HANDLE BUT IT IS TOO SHORT TO BE OF MUCH USE.

Worst purchase ever.

So like all the reviews said. There is an inaccurate item description. There is NO I repeat NO AC outlet. There is only a car outlet. I bought an adapter for i and plugged it in with a thermometer inside to check temperature and ensure it was safe to use. The chest is super loud, it ran for a day and when I came back to my desk - it was filled with water and the cord was super hot.

This thing is hazardous, the item description is a lie.. I would never buy from this company again
