These fit comfortably, the bifocals are placed well, and they're attractive. They aren't polarized, which the description makes clear, in case that's an issue for someone. The bifocal correction seems to be accurate on these glasses. They came with a clear plastic flip-open storage case, which is a compact size so will fit nicely into my purse and beach bag. There's also a soft cleaning cloth included. I got the tortoise shell frames with gray lenses. The lenses are dark, which I like, and there are no logos on the frames, which I appreciate. Soon after I got them, I dropped them onto my kitchen floor, and they are fine, so I'd say they're sturdy. Great price, high quality.

Update, almost a year later: I now have three pairs of these; one for my car, one for my purse, and one for my beach bag. All three are in great shape. Also, when I signed up at the Samba Shades web site, there were special offers and discounts. Great sunglasses.
Another update: Three years later I still have all three pairs. I just had to tighten a loosened screw once on one pair.
Another update, 2022. I lost one of my three pairs today. I still have the other two pairs from 2016. I'm so impressed with these sunglasses.

Nice but run small on bridge of nose

These are nice sturdy glasses, decent quality for $30. My only complaints are that they are too narrow on the bridge of my nose which didn't seem to match the description on the size of the bridge. Also, they are bit heavy too so they made imprints on my nose.

These are not cheapo sunglasses. I lost my prescription glasses and am in Fl for the winter. I need em fast and good quality. Two days later I got both. They were professionally shipped in a hard plastic case. They are heavy weight plastic frames that stay where they are put, no nose slide when you bend over. The bifocals are just right for driving and reading on the beach. I was afraid they might look too leopard print but that is not the case, it is a subtle design and the shape is big enough to block out that Florida sunshine. Very Happy!

They fit well and blocked the sun well. I can see well through the top part, but the bifocal reading lenses don't work. What a disappointment!. I ordered 2.0 and the sticker said 2.0. But I can't read with them.

I love my samba bifocal sunglasses. I was finally making a decision to purchase prescription sunglasses so I can read a book on the beach or check my phone messages anytime I am outside on a sunny day. It is such a bother to pull out your phone and not be able to see it because you have on sunglasses. I wear bifocal glasses but my distant vision is almost 20/20. So I finally thought it's time for prescription sunglasses. I checked online and they were costing around $300 dollars. I was like "WOW." One evening I was searching items on Amazon and searched "bifocal sunglasses" and found these Samba shades for less than $30. They arrive very quickly and I have been wearing them every moment I am outside. I was at the lake with my adult daughters and I offered them a pair of sunglasses (I still had my 2 other pair in my purse) my daughter said I'll take the ones you are wearing. They are very stylish and comfortable I even wore them into work forgetting I had my sunglasses on. I would definitely recommend.

I love these glasses at first. I have ordered 3 pair of these and each time the arm broke off. I just go to put them on and the arm just comes off. Hinge is still in place. I thought it was because I put them on my head so this last pair I was extreme careful with them. I picked them up to put them on as I was
Leaving for vacation and they broke. I will not buy another pair!!! I gave them 5 stars for sun protection and light weight because they are. Value for the money…I wish I could give less than 1 star.

I ordered these having never owned bifocal sunglasses. The packaging was extremely well done and professional. Samba obviously spent time and money to package and protect the contents. I was most impressed with the quality construction of the frame in particular. It wasn't cheap plastic but more of what I would expect in a pair of brand name, high-end sunglasses. The lens was high quality and also exceeded my expectations. I spent some time researching the different options on Amazon and online and did not choose the cheapest price option on Amazon because that never seems to work out for me. I spent a little more money (like $10) on these than some of the other Amazon options and I am glad I did. I will be ordering another pair in a different color in the near future.
