Aside from the zip-lock package this "OEM" product came in with - The cable broke within the first day of use. The plastic cover that protects the USB side of the cable broke. Most disappointing part is that the cable lost its function - cable doesn't charge my phone anymore. Amazon was generous enough to replace the broken cable, but today, same issue arise.Save yourself the money and hassle. Don't buy these "OEM" product. I was even highly disappointed that it came from the Amazon directly.

If you bought one that gets super hot, doesn't "fast charge", falls apart, or catches fire, congratulations: you bought a counterfeit charger from a 3rd party seller.

Want an Original Samsung Charger? Buy this with Amazon, LLC. as the seller and you won't get a fake. The Original charger is cool to the touch while charging my phone, feels sturdy and well built, and works extremely well. Make sure you have a phone that supports Fast Charging, otherwise look for a standard 2.0 amp charger.

If you bought a counterfeit, contact Amazon so that they can remove the fakes, rather than leave a bad review and sulk about it (which doesn't do anything).

I ordered this after having issues with a power inverter blowing my fuses. This product is wonderful. Haven't had any issues with it. The cord given is alittle long and unsightly but works great.

Cord is quite long for a car charger can get in the way at times
The plug itself is alittle longer then I'd like, it pushes out somewhat far from the outlet doesn't get in the way just wish it was slightly shorter.

Though there is cons this is one of the best charging devices I've purchased and am very glad I did.

I was skeptical that this would be a real Samsung fast charger based on the price. But it was. The packaging was just the charger and cable rolled up in a plastic bag. After comparing it to the charger my brother bought directly from Samsung it seems to be the real deal. My galaxy s7 edge recognized it as a fast charger right away. The cord is rather long for a car charger but really you only need the car adpter for the fast charge. You can use any microbusb cable. Overall great product at a great price.

I'm not so convinced that these are OEM chargers - but if they are, I'm disappointed in the quality control. I've purchased this for my Note 5 and it flat out doesn't charge consistently. One thing is for sure, the "fast charge" feature does not work at all. When I plug this in, it tells me 2 hours and 30 minutes until charged completely. My travel adapter says about 1 hour and 12 minutes or so. The second issue is that it will charge for about 20 seconds, and then stop charging over and over again - almost like it can't sustain the connection. This alternating of electrical current can't be good for the battery (especially since Samsung has so graciously blessed us with removable batteries in a fragile glass encasing, I don't want to take any chances). I could understand if this was some brand new technology, but I'm pretty shocked at the poor execution of something as simple as a car charger. I would be glad if it just charged my phone at all, even if it was slow charging only; but I had to go back to a non-oem charger that is practically falling apart. It works far better than this one. The one good thing about this charger is that it looks good. It matches my Note 5. It is sleek and black, and makes a great conversation piece. As far as functionality goes, this is just not a reliable charger. You get what you pay for. For the record, I'm a Samsung guy. My 65" TV is Samsung. I've owned every Galaxy Note ever. Much of my other devices in the house are Samsung - so this was a disappointment and I'm hoping that these are just manufacturer defects that Samsung can help many others like myself resolve.

It works most of the time. The cable doesn't go all the way into the charger which may be why it doesn't always charge. I had to twist the charger a little to get it just right. The charger is also a bit longer than I would have preferred as my last one was fairly compact (and probably more expensive). The cable is a bit stiff as well but not that big of a deal. For the price I can't complain too much and right now it has been pretty consistent with the charging so I won't be returning it.

After purchasing my Samsung Galaxy Note 5, I wanted to access the fast charging technology in my car. I also did not want to entrust a cheaply made product to power my expensive, new device. My phone successfully charges within the described times that Samsung provides.
As a side note, I would like to mention that I recommend purchasing this product from Amazon LLC in order to avoid the issues with authenticity that many others have experienced.
