Worked for two months waste of money
First I had to modify my dash to even fit the double den in my 09 Dodge Ram which wasn't a big issue but was unexpected. Next the screen just froze and shut off after working for two months. The radio now has a mind of its own and will work every once in a while for a short period of time. It also seems to give me a system error 2 code and I can't seem to find what the code might stand for... Two months isn't very long for a brand new radio so don't waste your money

Installed in 2005 Chrysler 300. This unit is well worth every penny. The sound is great BUT YOU HAVE TO SET THE EQ. Its completely flat when you first turn it on so it sounds awful. The bluetooth is great for both streaming and calls. It even has a call lo. The stereo and Bluetooth have separate volumes. The GPS is great and so are the other functions. It has a ton of features that are beyond the ones listed in the description. Some complained about the GPS but it takes about 30 seconds to Load. It tells you if you are speeding and shows gas stations. The GPS loading screen tells you where to go for map updates as well. The screen isn't the best but its not the worst either it gets the job done and keeps the kids happy. The parking brake ground was not needed for some reason. Could have been my car. I also hooked up a wireless Esky backup camera to my unit with ease. The unit has a backup wire so when connected to the reverse wire from your car it automatically switches to the back up camera. You can also set the radio to keep playing audio when the car is in reverse.

NOTE FOR CHRYSLER 300: If you have a Chrysler 300 without the factory amp and you buy a wiring harness the factory wiring harness does not have a 12v ACC connection to match the radio. You will have to splice into your cigarette lighter and run that to the harness red ACC wire.

It worked consistently for about two months before the head rest monitors (also Pyle) started acting up. One day the driver side monitor would work, then it wouldn't. Then the passenger side monitor would do the same thing, but they'd never go out at the same time. Lead me to think it's an issue with the HU.

The unit would constantly freeze and after about 5 months (while used the blutooth function) the whole thing shut off. It just completely died. I tested all connections and I couldn't get it to turn back on. A week later, POOF, it was working again. That lasted about a month before it died again for good (again, whike using the blutooth function). After only 6 months of use it turned into a paper weight.

It's a great price for the feature and the GPS was surprisingly accurate and dependable when it worked, but it's a garbage unit that won't last. When it's all said and done, you get what you pay for.

Also, I logged the issue on Pyle's website and got no response.

Save up and get something reliable.

Overall it is a really good purchase for the price. Here are some thoughts for those on the fence...
Just so you know my rating reasons 4 stars = "What I expected" (3 would be less but okay, 5 would be exceeding expectations)

1) It will not stand up head-to-head with the more "name brand" units for speed and clarity. Don't get me wrong... it works "fine" but you have to wait a little bit for things to load on occasion.

2) This instructions and manual are god awful. I am rather tech-savvy and was able to figure it all out but for some they would just assume that it is broken. Ex: To use the SD card function for media... the SD card must be formatted to FAT32. Not the normal NTSF that are mostly sold as the default format here in the states.

3) There is a setting/function that allows you to reprogram your steering wheel controls to the new unit BUT you will need to by an adapter for that. So your steering wheel or rear seat radio controls will be dead unless you buy this adapter.

4) The GPS is actually really good.... as long as you place the antenna real far up on your dash and way from all the electronic equipment. The maps are up to date enough for me, but you can buy updates from www.naviextras.com.

--- So I guess in summary, its good for the price. I put it in a 9 year old car just for kicks as a pass-time mini-projects. If you are updating a new model or higher-end vehicle. I might recommend just paying for a more well-known and more expensive unit.

Its Really good system just installed it with best buy had it professional installed .The only thing that I don’t like it’s not clear in the day time but think I need to adjust the brightness maybe that will help but other than that I like the unit allot I was scared to buy it when somebody said it died after a few months but maybe it was a bad apple. I bought it anyway so I just want to say for the money I paid I think it’s a winner even throw the price went down I paid $227.68 now the price is $199.98. but the place that I bought it from they gave my half the money back which was very nice of them to do that so thanks for that Quality Car Audio, all good so far I will post more later I did put this in unit in my Lexus ES 300 with (4 ) 6 ½ infinity Kappa’s very nice sounds thank u best buy top of the line .

I usually don't review items, but i have to warn people against using this particular item. First, I have an electronics background and have conducted hundreds of installations, but the lack of instruction from the included manual or website support is appalling. It was not very easy to install, I don't have steering wheel control as advertised, and without adding anything special when running my GPS, the system gives me a memory error. What is worse is that although the company says that the unit is updatable via there website and another GPS website, there really is no support for the unit. Its nice after its installed, but the lack of support really is the downside to this unit. Axes SWC's do not work with this unit for steering wheel control.

The issue for me is I had to spend $120 just to get it installed. Now I have to tale it out return it yhen pay another $120 for reinstallation.
