    If anything out of the ordinary is happening, we recommend that you first perform a system reset. 1) Unplug everything from the transmitter (Audio & Power). 2) Wait about 10 seconds then firmly reconnect all cords. 4) Place the transmitter 3 to 5 feet off the ground and away from any obstructions. 5) Confirm the transmitter is receiving power by placing a headset in the charging cradle and making sure the charging light illuminates. 6) If you do not receive clear sound after the reset, please contact our technical support department for further troubleshooting

    The original headset and dual base purchased last year for my Father works great. Thought I would buy and extra set so he always has one ready. This one was a used return sold by amazon warehouse. It looks new but unfortunately will not make a connection to charge on the base ( ie green light charge indicator will not come on). Not sure how this item was ever Quality checked prior to repackage and sale. I will be returning item. Too bad. My father was looking forward to having an extra headset. Now when his goes dead, my Mother has to get blasted out of the house again.

    I totally love my TV Ears! I purchased my first pair almost five years ago. For the hearing impaired, like me, it’s one of the best things you can do for yourself. TV Ears allow me to hear my tv much clearer than when I try to watch tv with just my hearing aids. Plus if you choose so, you can watch tv in total privacy or other people can share the tv with you at a normal volume, while you set your own volume on TV Ears. Everybody is happy. Please, if you’re tired of missing out on what is being said on your favorite programs, or asking others what was said, then you need tv ears ASAP. I promise you will not be disappointed.

    My Grandmother has been using TV Ears for many years due to her hearing loss. She is almost completely deaf in one ear and has trouble hearing the TV even with her hearing aids in (I am not joking when I say the TV is so loud you can hear it in her driveway as soon as you pull up). These are a great solution for that! Even when we go on vacation and she is staying in the room next to mine, when she uses these TV ears, I can't even hear the TV. The only downside is the lifespan of this product: both the base and the headsets do not last very long, considering the price of this product. The base "slots" for charging the headsets get loose and don't have a good connection; the headsets themselves loosen and even break; and worst of all the "connection" of the headsets to the TV worsens over time to the point that they are useless for people like my Grandmother who need these headsets to make the the TV loud enough. By purchasing this headset, I have fixed the immediate problem and now the base is functioning again and she can watch TV; however, the price of these products is significant for the quality you receive. That said, I have not been able to find a better product for this function, and we will continue to buy these TV Ears because she loves TV and this saves the rest of the families hearing :)

    This is a replacement for one of our "ears" because my parents use them constantly & after over 7 years, one set wore out. I originally order the double ear set with charging station. We've only had to replace batteries & the little foam ear pads a few times over the years. With my parents hearing declining, these TV ears kept them from having to blow the speakers out on the TV in order to hear. Also, if one or two people in the family want to watch a show while others want to socialize, read, enjoy silence, etc.. the TV ears are perfect!
