Runs small compared to other swimsuits

I normally wear a 28 for training purposes and can squeeze into a 26/24 for competitions. I read the other reviews and saw that it runs small, so I got a 30 and it fit like a 26. I did not use the size chart; maybe that would've gone better for me. The quality is excellent. Just beware that it seems to run very small.

This swimsuit is a great comprise of cute and sporty. I purchased it for my daughter who needed a suit that would stay on during lifeguard training. We ordinally went with a 36 size and it fit but was a bit too tight, so we moved up to the 38 and it fits great. It does not have padding but does have a lining inside the swimsuit so that it is not too thin. Measurements are 5'8, 120 lbs., bust - 30C, (I always hate reviews that don't tell you the size of the person so here you go.)

The recommended sizing is much too tight...thankfully I expected this having been wearing these suits for years. Amazon recommended a size 28 for me (I am 5'4", 112 lbs, athletic build) so I ordered a 32 and it fits well. It is still tight and difficult to take off after swimming, but it provides the appropriate support and reduces drag for lap swimming. I know from experience that it will loosen up a bit over time. Overall it's a good quality suit that will last a good while.

I ordered the largest size they had and am quite pleased with it. Sure, it takes a bit of a wiggle and tug to get it on, but once in the water it feels terrific. It is no tighter than the TYR suit I had previously purchased. Great bargain on a great suit for swimming laps for me.

I needed something in a pinch, and found this item with the quickest delivery option for non-swimming season. I am 5 ft 7 inches, 200 lbs. Not exactly a svelte athletic type, but proportional. I purchased the XL, which is typically adequate for my needs. This was uncomfortably tight. The shoulder traps dug in, the chest was like a medieval compression device. Interestingly the stomach area was not binding, and the leg openings were cut high to allow for excellent mobility in the water. Speedo is a well recognized brand, and of good construction. I'm not sure what recommendations to make, other than it is possible that this either runs a bit small, or it is more of a European sizing.

Bust: 31’’, waist -26’’, torso-56’’ and hip - 36.5’’ and I got a size 32 and it’s perfect. Has great front and bottom coverage. It is snug enough but not digging into my skin. It feels smooth and doesn’t droop down in the front or stretch when doing swimming lengths!
