The SGN217 robust windshield and dashboard car mount holds the Samsung Galaxy S10, S9, S8, and S7, Galaxy Note Edge, Note 9, Note 8, and Note 5. It also holds midsize (7” or 8” screen size) tablets, including the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7. 0 and 8. 0, Galaxy Note 8. 0, Galaxy Tab Active, and Galaxy Tab S2 8. 0. The mount includes Arkon’s Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Smartphone and Midsize Tablet Holder, a large-sized 80mm windshield suction car mount base with one-touch lever, and a 3M adhesive disk (for optional dashboard mounting). The Slim-Grip Ultra’s spring-loaded mechanism makes it easy to insert or remove the smartphone from the holder with one hand, yet holds the smartphone or tablet securely. The top and bottom adjustable-leg design of the Slim-Grip Ultra helps keep any side buttons and ports unobstructed, making it ideal for use with the side accessible buttons on the Galaxy S6 edge or Galaxy Note Edge. Included with the holder are 8 support legs (4 short and 4 longer versions) that can be customized to work with the spring-loaded holder to extend as large as 7. 5” tall (using all four long legs) or as compact as 4” (using all four short legs) depending on the size of your device. The recommended configuration for most smartphones and midsize tablets is to have 2 short legs on the top of the holder and 2 of the longer legs on the bottom of the holder. The mount features a suction base made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). This type of suction is DEHP-free, which is ideal for those who prefer a more option. The arm of the suction mount adjusts vertically and provides 360° rotation, giving you the ultimate flexibility in viewing the Samsung smartphone or midsize tablet from any angle. The 5” tall robust suction car mount with Slim-Grip Ultra holder can also be used as a dashboard mount. It’s a 2-in-1 car mounting solution.

Great seller. My item arrived early. Didn't need to contact the seller because I received exactly what I ordered, brand new, in perfect condition. The product is great as well. It's made very well. It comes with a windshield mount and dashboard mount. I opt. For the dashboard mount and it sticks very well, my cell has a little weight to it, it's a mega, and the mount is very solid. It doesnt move around at all. It comes with clips, I'm not sure how many your suppose to use but 2 on each end is all you need, leaving me with 4 extra clips if one should crack off. Awesome. Also.. when I first got this for my mega, I put the cell up to it and though, what the heck ? It says it's for a mega but it's to small. I soon figured out that one end extends out. I love this product.

I have been seriously disappointed with numerous other dash mounts. This one is rigid, and does not flop around when going over bumps. This is using a Galaxy Note 4 with an Anker Extended battery. I hope it holds up. The other ones I have purchase besides the original Galaxy Note 1 Dash mount from Samsung has sucked and wound up snapping, and wobbling all over the place so bad you think its going to slingshot out the window. Not this one. The little fingers on this one attach to a spring-loaded piece that pulls down and then pulls the phone in place and works really well. There are two types of fingers that come with this device, and I wound up using the longer ones. This issue has been eating at me like a piranha, and I am glad to have squished this one. Now onto the other little nuisances in my life... but at least now I have a stable mount for my phone/gps.

Overall a good product, just didn't do what I wanted with my vehicle. The stand itself is too large for the close quarters of my pick up truck. The suction cup itself wouldn't stick to anything at first. I think that had more to do with the useless cleaning cloth that came with it though. Once I used a normal paper towel and windex on the suction cup itself, it stuck to the windshield just fine. Since it didn't fit in my truck, I used the base plate to mount it onto the bottom of a shelf on my desk.

I will probably stick with the same company but see if they have a smaller mount bracket that works better with my truck. :)
