In the manual it is written, that it works on a Fujifilm X-T1 only within the battery grip (VG-XT1). But I have no VG-XT1 (yet).When I pushed the coupler a bit, the camera worked. So I had only a little DIY to do. The white piece you see on the picture is a part of a plastic spoonPlease consider that the battery lid of the camera cannot be closed.

The HQRP Kit AC Power Adapter is a perfect solution of using my Fujifilm X-T20 in my studio for macro photography focus stacking sessions where each session is several hundred shots each. It works, but it's a little finicky when plugged into the camera. When I move the camera around, sometimes it jostles just slightly loose and the camera won't turn on/shuts off. It's too bad so many modern cameras don't just have a DC in port on their exterior, and we have to resort to these fake battery inserts. Maybe it's to help with water resistance or something, but it's a pain.

I use this with the X-T1 and vertical grip. It works just fine with one tiny issue. The battery status indicator in the camera shows red, as though the battery were empty. Once you learn to ignore that, this works perfectly. I have taped the cable connectors together to prevent them from disconnecting if accidentally yanked. All in all a good little product for a reasonable price.

It doesn't stay inside the camera. And since the battery door of my Fujifilm XT-3 can't be closed, the battery does not make good contact, and the camera loses power always. I inserted a piece of cardboard between the battery and the orange tongue that keeps the battery in place, and it seems to work. But I am always concerned that I will lose power at the wrong time.
